Fusion Energy Finally Performed

Scientists have produced energy at a positive net compared to the input source. The practical use of this technology won’t be possible until at least a decade.

By pointing lasers at a pellet as small as a peppercorn the laboratory heated it to 3,000,0000 degrees Celsius. Imitating the process by which suns and stars stay alive and produce plasma, the reaction lasted less than .5 seconds.

This is a huge breakthrough for scientists however as this could lead to much cleaner, renewable energy.
